Inflation, Part 3

Inflation is one of the main topics of today. Everyone we talk to is concerned about the large price increases they have seen in the last two months. We have had inflation since we were taken of the Gold standard in 1933, but this is different. The increase are bigger, and are taking place over shorter time frames. In other words, inflation is accelerating. If the inflation we have had in the first quarter continues to accelerate at the current rate of increase, we could have 20% inflation in 2021. That kind of inflation is usually a precursor to full-blown runaway hyper-inflation, such as Peter Schiff is currently predicting.
